camping/wheeling trip

So a few of us went up to Holy Cross this weekend to do some camping and wheeling. We were the first people up to the creek and had to break open a lot of the trail to get there. On the other side of the creek the snow is 4-9'deep still and will probably be there for a few weeks, unless people get their shovels out on next weekend and spend some time. I did hike around the first bend but tons of snow there too.

we did some exploring some of the other places homestake rd has to offer.

didn't get a pic of "rocktube".... but let me assure you it was a LOT of fun!!!!

Maybe you didn't get my statement. I was talking more along the lines of a trail on the west side of the mtns.

Awesome time at Holy Cross this year. Snow was very deep at the traditional camping site and beyond but we were able to find a nice spot for the GP Medium and small screw of Zombies.

It was a great time. Not getting up to the city was kind of nice in that we were able to explore so much more of that area. WE were like a bunch of 13 year old which was also part of the fun.
