Jailbroke my ipod touch

It has OS 4.0, just setup the jailbrake and so far, so good. I installed my first bad ass app called "PogoPlank". It completely revamps the layout of the screen. No more constant scanning to the right or left. Mucho bettero. Time for some serious hackage of said ipod touch.

Nice! All the best toys need a fresh set of aftermarket firmware before the real cool stuff happens.

I felt like putting a bullet between the eyes of every Panda that wouldn't screw to save its species.

Sweet! I've been thinking about "rooting" my android phone...

You know you got cool gear when the "hack" nick name is based off of the "root" user(common for Linux and Unix)

Learning a lot... It is scary all the stuff you find out when you start taking this thing apart. For those that care, all ipod touch and iphones have a root user (like unix) and a factory defined password. So far I have found two possible passwords that can be used.

If you know how to search for ip addresses on a network, and you know there is an iphone/ipod... I would think it is only a matter of time before you are in (full file access on the backside of the device). That is, unless that person knows how to change the root/mobile passwords.... I guess I will leave the rest to the imagination.

We cam have some fun... I just got an NES emulator for mine. Also got a driver that will pair it with Wii controls. Now I just gotta get it hooked to my stereo receiver and we got a little cool NES. There is also an emulator for SNES NES64 and PSP
