.454 Casul

Got the head shot practiced?

.454 Casul

Hey Panhead.

What do you know about the .454 Casul vs. the .460 S&W? I am looking at maybe getting a Taurus Raging Judge that shoots the .45 LC, .410 GA and the .454 Casul. But the gun I really want is the Taurus Redhawk Super Alaskan like in the movie Faster. So if I'm gonna go with a big calibre I want to have commonality with other guns. The Taurus Raging Judge is like a block of steel. It's very heavy. I want to try out the Super Alaskan sometime to contrast and compare. I looked for the Super Alaskan at the last Tanner gun show but I could not find one.......Any Thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

460 S&W will shoot all those rounds and the 460 as well. The Ruger Super Red hawk is no longer made in 460 or 454 casull. I don't really know much about the Taurus raging bull but they are big ole honkers. I do have a VNV brother who has one for sale in .44 mag but it is a 6" barrel. I still want a .454 Casull like the rock had so damn cool.

I want that Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 like the Rock had. If I find some I will let you know. I really really really want that gun for some reason.

Driver (Dwayne Johnson) uses a 2.5" barreled Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan throughout the movie. The unfluted cylinder indicates that it is chambered for the .454 Casull cartridge or the .480 Ruger. However the .480 Ruger model has been discontinued, and shots in the film confirm it is loaded with .454 Casull rounds.

.454 Casull is also discontinued in the Ruger. I'd like either of them. They are scarce on the used market and then pricey. Tell Billy to find some for us in his secret order of the FFL. Also I need a price on a short barreled S&W .44 mag. I like the unfluted cylinder models best.

All right. I love to buy guns. Big guns big trucks. Please ask our new gun dealer what kind of deal he can get me on the model 629 performance center 2.625 barrel length. Also I'd like one without the lock in it. Christmas cash burning a hole in my pocket. Any cheep .44 special or mag ammo as well.

I would like to see one the little puke gangster kids take the .454 casull and hold that shit sideways like they do with their Glock pistols.

I just found this page on the Ruger website. They are showing the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan chambered for the .454 as a good part number. I am going to take that part number and have Billy track it down to see what we get, cause I want one. :D
