Thanks Panhead. I like the way it turned out too.

Ryan, the base paint was spendy but cost me $75 total and I stripped it down myself. His tank is only 8' long so he can dip the side panels, but not the whole chassis.

Based on your response I would say that the buggy parts are at least bring considered. How hot can that stuff get and still live?

It is an ink pattern and then clear coated. As for heat, how hot can you get the paint on your car? people paint engine block and parts with reg auto paint all the time. People are dipping engine parts too. HUGE in the import market.

Ya, that is what I was wondering, would it stand up to engine heat. That is cool.

You could do control arms, intake.... Is his tank big enough to fit some 17" wheels?
