502 Probie Cocksucker 20 ton press questions

Hey man, what kind of steel is running across the top of that press? An I beam? Can you measure the width of the bottom piece? I have an issue with the press we have on hand over here....

The top piece of the press is two pieces of C-channel placed back to back to form an I-beam. The whole thing is made up of different dimensions of C-channel for the most part. The throat of the press is 22 1/2 inches wide. The steel that your work sits on is 27 1/4 inches wide.

I felt like putting a bullet between the eyes of every Panda that wouldn't screw to save its species.

Ok, I cannot get to the press in question right now, but I think it is the 12 ton version of Harbor Freight family line. We have begun to bend where the jack presses against the top steel. I am curious what the 20 ton has in terms or steel badassness uptop versus the 12 ton. I will make a pic to show what is going on...

The 20 ton has 4 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 1/4" C-channel back to back at the top.

The construction of the press in your photo varies in many ways to the 20 ton model. The top on the 20 ton is welded instead of bolted.

I felt like putting a bullet between the eyes of every Panda that wouldn't screw to save its species.
