Winterfest 2009

What can we say? It was an awesome event that went off pretty much problem free.

We really appreciate all of the compliments and thank you that were received throughout the weekend. I know that I personally feel very lucky to be able to wheel that close to home.

If you have a chance, Balloonknot has been working hard at not only spooning me, but on creating a photoalbum of all the photos he can find from the event. Check it out here.

Cryan's Alley

As I spent most of my time here, I can say that through about half of the day on Saturday it held together well.

I got to the farm about about 9:30 and the very first person to drive it, broke. He was so happy to show us his trophy.

Then we thought "Hey this is not tough enough". So I did some awesome work of churning the ground with my rig. All was well until I snapped a u-joint (Jackass).

Never the less, I saw 1 broken drive shaft, one broken axle shaft and a broken window on this obstacle alone. The zombies plan on re anchoring the poles to the ground, and adding some large tree like logs to make the difficulty unavoidable. We pretty much want to make it so you cant make it through (or at least I do). I am sure we will come up with some evil plans for those that dare to try it in the future. You will know why they call it "Cryan's Alley"!

Whoops!

So many cool rigs to check out this time, I did not have enough time to talk to everyone about what they

had and how the built it. Many people to save, including my personal favorite.....

If you missed that, well too bad for you!

Wheeling!

Hard core driving was all over the place, including:

Does this dude ever go at an obstacle without full a vengance? You are not a man if you don't think that engine sounds sexy!
I guess this is what happens when you break a fat tub of Scout II! Good thing we had some more farm equipment to pull him out!
Bringin the heat!
Doh! I did not see this in person, but check out the stats on that bitch! 4 link front and rear, mog rear with some sort of customer front... Maybe a custom 9 inch housing?

If you have anything I can add to this(video, pictures.. I can use it from pretty much anywhere on the web), please contact me (YeeP on here, Janky on CO4x4) Thanks!

Please feel free to leave us a comment at the bottom of this article about how you felt, what you did.
